News of the weird:

It turns out that the Bizjarran authorities have a long-running tendency to go tell the Oans to go fuck themselves without lube with electric eels up the bum, as Mazidren stated in the un-bowdlerized version of her latest "No". Given the Oans are a bunch of incompetent bumblers at their very most intelligent and the GLC basically amounts to undisguised cultural imperialism for Malthus's benefit (as Oans seldom tended to translate their own name for their world once Thomas Malthus came along). To be fair, the Order of the Darks doesn't want the GLC anywhere within 100 gigameters of us. Those guys are always bad news, and given the first time the Imperials said no was under Revcel's leadership and the Oans attempted a full-on brawl and nearly hit Ashari in the Cross-Fire (which resulted in Rev shapeshifting into a figure very much like Boudicca of the Icenii and blowing every one of the GLC members there to bloody red/green/blue gore) to force the Imperials.....
The Imperials are debating making the Oans simply persona non grata, which in Imperial terms means "We sees 'em we shoots 'em." That already applies to all the other Lantern Corps Rainbow Squad members, especially Sinestro Corps and Red Lanterns. The Black Lanterns just get projecting empaths to Kill Them With Love. But the Yellow and Red Lanterns are automatic set-to-kills. And if the rumor I heard about what the Oan said to Mazidren is true, that debate's pretty much over at this point.
As to why I'm writing this in my own DW? A reminder to myself never to let the Oans in to start with.
